Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery and Tibetan Centre was established in 1967 and is the first and largest of its kind in the West. It is located in a peaceful valley on the banks of the river Esk among the scenic rolling hills of the Scottish borders. An important centre for the preservation of Tibetan Buddhism, arts, medicine and culture.
