A small church set in a graveyard, probably the site of
a monastery in the early Christian period and later of a
medieval parish church, built in the late 19th Century, but
imitating a 12th Century church style.
Very isolated atmosphere
set on a small hillside surrounded by fields. Red rubble
stone. Glass porch to the side now houses three 5th Century
stones, some of the earliest examples of Christian stonework
in Scotland. Managed by Historic Scotland.
