Baroque style pink Sandstone Castle.
Quadrangular with towers in each corner. One of the first
and most important renaissance
buildings in the grand manner in Scotland, and open to
the public during the summer. Extensive parkland and historical
gardens. Owned by the Duke of Buccleuch.
