‘Perfect Day’ Motorcycle safety film (2003)

Motorcycle Safety FilmThe region was seen as the perfect location for this three-minute public safety film shot in the Stewartry in November 2003.

Towser, the production company, were interested in filming a number of motorbike sequences on well-maintained country roads with light traffic, and worked closely with the Stewartry Roads department during the filming.

Setting up the Motorcycle Safety FilmThey were full of praise for the region, and the helpfulness that local people showed during what could have been a difficult shoot. Ray de Haan, the stunt motorbike rider is a film veteran who has worked on Tomorrow Never Dies, Star Wars, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and many other films.
